Fake news, fake profiles, and fake products. Corporations that cheat. Politicians who don’t tell the truth – never before has so much been fake. And we are in the middle of it. We ask ourselves: What is real? What is true and what is a lie? Who can we trust? Who should we trust? These questions were at the centre of the FAKE exhibition, for which the Stapferhaus transformed into the 'Office for the Whole Truth'.
After 21 successful months, the Office closed its doors in Lenzburg. Its activities however, are still up and running: Our officials are out visiting schools and we have moved our archive of lies onto this website. On the website you can evaluate lies, listen to podcasts or prepare lessons as a teacher. To deal with truth and lies is more necessary than ever.
