The clock ticks nonstop. Machines produce, people work and the media broadcast nonstop. Nonstop is the beat of our time. Time pressure and lack of time are among the defining experiences of the present. For Nonstop, the Stapferhaus asked the public and experts: Who sets the pace and what does that pace do to us?
An exhibition interacted with the visitors departing from their own experiences of time. It focused on contemporary time culture and included the cultural history of acceleration. The exhibition was accompanied by a book and a CD with stories about the pace of life (sound).
